The Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce (FAI) has the honour of hosting the 15^th IFCAI Biennial Conference in Helsinki on 23 May 2019.

IFCAI Biennial Conference is an international arbitration conference arranged biennially by the International Federation of Commercial Arbitration Institutions (IFCAI). The conference is hosted in turns by arbitral institutions that are IFCAI members. Currently, IFCAI consists of 52 member organizations worldwide. Since 2011, the FAI has annually arranged an international arbitration conference called the Helsinki International Arbitration Day (HIAD). In 2018 the conference attracted around 250 people from 20 different countries. In May 2019, the FAI will host the 15^th IFCAI Biennial Conference in Helsinki. In connection with the IFCAI Biennial Conference, IFCAI will hold its General Assembly and Council meeting. Therefore, we anticipate that a great number of arbitral institutions will be present in the conference.
