VitalHub Acquires Buddy Healthcare – Lexia Advises on Strategic Acquisition
Vitalhub Corp. (TSX:VHI) (“VitalHub”), a healthcare software company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, has acquired Finnish healthcare technology company Buddy Healthcare. The acquisition strengthens VitalHub’s position in the global healthcare software market and supports the company’s growth strategy, particularly in care coordination and patient flow management solutions.
Founded in 2016, Buddy Healthcare has developed a digital care coordination platform in close collaboration with university hospitals and healthcare professionals. The platform is used by hospitals across Europe to improve care coordination and patient engagement. Through the acquisition, Buddy Healthcare becomes part of the VitalHub group, which serves more than 1,000 healthcare and social care organisations internationally.
Lexia acted as legal counsel to VitalHub in the acquisition of Buddy Healthcare. The engagement included legal advice and support on all Finnish law aspects of the transaction throughout the process.
